I have nothing but great things to say about Jake and his work. The video he put together for our wedding exceeded all expectations. Sure, the drone footage was phenomenal and he got all the right parts of the event -- but Jake really puts his heart and soul into the editing process and delivered a truly remarkable 7-minute edit. I can't even count the number of friends and family who have cried while watching it. AND -- Jake was a pleasure to work with on the big day. Thank you Jake!!

My husband and I could not have more positive things to say about Jake! He was such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning email phase, to talking through the process via FaceTime (we were planning from out of state), to our actual wedding day. His temperament was soothing, he was never intrusive to get the shot, and he worked so beautifully side-by-side with our photographers. The video turned out absolutely beautifully and we will forever be grateful to Jake for capturing our wedding day so wonderfully. We could not recommend Jake and Motion Artisan more highly!

Jake was one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. His work is absolutely stunning. He has a true gift. We used him for "a love story" video as well and this was an absolute hit at our wedding. Every guest commented on it. He made the day so stress free. Itwas such a pleasure working with him. Would highly highly highly recommend. You will NOT be disappointed. As we were planning the wedding, one of the areas we thought about cutting budget was with hiring a videographer. Jake & Motion Artisan are wonderful. I'm sure these adjectives are running thin by now, but truth is truth. He is a true professional. As the bride & groom, you are made to feel so comfortable that you don't even know you're being filmed (as a severely camera shy bride) but then when you receive your videos you will be amazed at how much was captured. Nothing so far has allowed me to transport back to all of the magic of that day as much as my videos from them. You feel the beauty and happiness and excitement that you experienced. You get to live the best day of your life every time you watch. Jake also accommodated my specific editing preferences without ever making me feel weird about it and did it beautifully. Jake was my favorite vendor. We were SO impressed with how our wedding video turned out, and have received several compliments on how beautiful it was. Jake was on time, so nice, and always replied to emails or phone calls when I had a question. I also never felt like he was inthe way when he was filming - I barely knew he was even there! He emailed the video within 2 weeks, and we had all of the USB coverage within a couple days after receiving the video online. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Motion Artisan was amazing! They were really fun to be around on the day of the wedding. And they are VERY talented! The highlight video that they made for me is incredible. I still watch it almost every day and it brings me to tears almost every time. It just totally captures the entire day and it is really well done! High quality video and audio. I am SO GLAD that I hired them. Also worth mentioning is that they got the videos to me 4 days after our wedding! I was shocked. I don't know if that is normal, but I couldn't believe how quickly they produced everything after the event. It was amazing and so fun to get to watch the videos on our honeymoon. Another fun thing is that they have a drone. So they can get aerial video if that works for your wedding day. We went to a field to take photos between the ceremony and the reception and they got some really fun video using the drone of just the two of us in the middle of the field. It was really cool. Overall, I think that Motion Artisan is very underpaid :) You get way more than your money's worth. Hire them! :) - Emily

Jake was our videographer for our wedding and we was absolutely incredible. Not only are the videos sensational, beautiful and artistically produced, but the price was extremely fair - plus Jake was willing to work with us to put together an a la carte package based on our specific needs - and he was exceptionally professional and friendly and easy to work with. Jake responded to all our requests and meeting in a timely. I was worried a videographer would have large clunky equipment with bright lights in everyones faces, but Jake showed up with very small and sleek equipment (which was amazing) and no bright lights - we barely noticed him the entire evening, which gave us the true "fly on the wall" effect we wanted. The videos truly captured the energy of our wedding and are of outstanding quality. We cant stop watching them and will treasure these videos forever. HIGH HIGH HIGH recommendations!!!! - Emily

If you are debating whether or not to do videography, without a doubt, DO IT. Jake far exceeded our expectations and provided us with incredible memories of our wedding day. He mixed in shots from two different cameras AND A DRONE! Our 6 1/2 minute wedding compilation video looks like it could be a movie, with aerial shots of the venue, us walking down the aisle, and guests having a blast. Jake also provided us with video of our full ceremony (very well mic'd), the speeches, and about 20 minutes worth of moments from the reception. He has a fantastic eye and definitely knows how to edit a powerful video that captures the emotion and vibe of your day! - Brittany

From the beginning he was very professional and flexible! He listened to what we needed and assured us he'd have the right equipment! On the day, he showed up early to get some scenery shots! They turned out great in the video and really set the mood! He even got files of our music for the ceremony and included that in the video! He got all of the mics set up and multiple camera angles, some of which I didn't even know were there! He was professional and stayed under the radar during the ceremony but got every moment! Our words were crystal clear! We were able to watch our final video a week after our wedding which was such a special way to remember the day! We immediately sent it to friends and family, some of whom were not able to be at the wedding. So wonderful to have and I'm so glad we decided to do this and that we chose such a professional and talented person to do it!
